more about head

My name is Vanessa Haydock, AKA ‘The Diabetic Health Coach’, a qualified personal trainer, online coach and Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). I have now lived with Type 1 Diabetes since the age of three years old.

Growing up, I struggled to comes to terms with my Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis, which made controlling the condition a lot more of a struggle during my adolescent years.

However, following my retinopathy diagnosis, this caused me to change my ways for the better, creating a passion to control my Diabetes to the best of my ability. This then led me to want to help others with Diabetes going through the same thing, whereby I now aim to lead by example, providing my clients with everything that I needed when I was struggling with my Diabetes management.

Over the years, I have come to learn that leading a healthy lifestyle and taking up healthier habits has had a significant, positive impact on my own Diabetes control and overall motivation, leading me to want to help others living with Diabetes to achieve their health and fitness related goals.

I aim to motivate, empower and support my clients all the way through their health and fitness journey, as I completely understand what it is like to live with Type 1 Diabetes day to day, along with the obstacles and challenges we may face.

I currently offer a wide range of services, tailored to each individual including:
